TheChangdaoIslandsintheChangdaoMarineEcologicalCivilizationComprehensivePilotZone,whichliebetweentheBohaiSeaandtheYellowSea andare knownfortheircleansandybeachesandlimestonecliffs, havebecomearenownedtouristsitethankstothelocalgovernment'seffortstoenhance the ecologyandgreendevelopment.

位于渤海和黄海之间的长岛海洋生态文明综合试验区，以其洁净的沙滩和石灰岩峭壁而闻名，由于当地政府加强生态和绿色发展，已成为著名的旅游景点。

Inrecentyears,theChangdaoMarineEcologicalCivilizationComprehensivePilotZoneinthecoastalcityofYantaiinEastChina'sShandongprovincehasbeefedupeffortstopromotethe construction ofan ecological civilization andexplorednewwaysof achievingitsdecarbonizationgoals.

近年，位于中国东部山东省沿海城市烟台的长岛海洋生态文明综合试验区加大了推进生态文明建设的力度，并探索了实现其脱碳目标的新途径。

Atthesametime,theChangdao Islands inthepilotzonehave undertaken afforestationandtransformed over10,000mu(about6,667hectares)ofdegradedforests.Thegreenareahasincreasedfrom450,000squaremeterstoover690,000squaremeters, andtheforestcoverageratenowstandsat over60 percent.

与此同时，长岛完成植树造林和退化林改造1万多亩，绿化面积由45万平方米增加到69万平方米，林木覆盖率达60%以上。

TheChangdaoIslands havemaderemarkableachievementsinimprovingtheurbanandrurallivingenvironment.Thequalityoftheecologicalenvironmentontheislandshasimprovedsignificantly aswell.

长岛在改善城乡人居环境方面取得了显著成就，岛屿生态环境质量也有了明显改善。

Since2016,greenhousegasemissionsonChangdao Islands havedecreasedbynearly50 percent,andtheenergyconsumptionper10,000yuan ($1,380) ofGDPhasalsobeenlowered.Greenhousegasemissions,too,are now muchlowerthantheaveragelevelsofthecity,province,andthecountry.

2016年以来，长岛温室气体排放下降近50%,万元GDP能耗也有所下降，温室气体排放远低于全市、全省、全国平均水平。

Inthefuture,moretourismproductsfeaturingthearea'scharacteristicswillbedeveloped tomeetthediversifiedconsumptionneedsofcitizens.

未来，长岛将开发更多具有片区特色的旅游产品，满足市民多样化的消费需求。
