新加坡考虑出台室内空气质量法规
据《海峡时报》1月6日报道，新加坡政府正在考虑对建筑材料和家居用品中的甲醛排放进行限制。行业领袖团体“可持续空间行动联盟”提出了一套指导方针，要求公司必须提交测试报告进行认证，并证明其产品符合排放限制后才能销售。可持续发展和环境部部长傅海燕表示，政府将"非常认真地"考虑这些建议。针对人们对行业利益相关者提出的自愿性指导方针的监管效果的关心，傅海燕强调需要通过检查和执法以确保标准得到遵守。
新冠病毒传播导致的室内活动增加引发了公众对通风不足和空气质量不佳的担忧。其中，在建筑产品中广泛使用的甲醛由于可以释放微粒，且在高浓度水平下可能导致癌症而尤为受到关注。因此，在2021年11月，新加坡商业联合会、新加坡家具工业理事会和新加坡绿色建筑委员会成立了“可持续空间行动联盟”。该联盟旨在确保更清洁、更环保的室内空气质量。它提出了几项指导方针，包括如何保持良好的室内空气质量，为保持空气质量的良好实践颁发认证，实施工作场所安全和健康标准，以及监测室内空气质量。此外，该联盟还呼吁工业界开发和采用低排放产品，并推动行业和公众之间的精密合作。

TheincreasedindooractivitiesamidthespreadofCovid-19sparkedworriesaboutinadequateventilationandpoorairquality.Particularly,theformaldehydegenerallyusedinbuildingproductsreleasesparticlesthatcancausecancerwithhigh-levelexposure.Therefore,inNovember2021,SingaporeBusinessFederation(SBF),SingaporeFurnitureIndustriesCouncil(SFIC),andSingaporeGreenBuildingCouncilformedtheAllianceforActiononSustainableSpaces.Theallianceaimstoensurecleanerandgreenerindoorairquality.Itproposedguidelinesformaintaininggoodindoorairquality,acquiringcertificationsforeffortstomaintaingoodindoorairquality,implementingworkplacesafetyandhealthguidelines,andmonitoringindoorairquality.Inaddition,thebloccalledontheindustrytodevelopandadoptlow-emittingproductsandadvancegreatercollaborationbetweentheindustryandthepublic.
