中国日报设计部门完成上海奖系列设计！
全球可持续发展城市奖（上海奖）是联合国人居署和上海市人民政府共同发起设立的国际奖项，旨在推动落实《联合国2030年可持续发展议程》，促进其在全球的本地化，表彰在可持续发展领域取得突出成就的城市。同时为实施联合国人居署重点领域工作和旗舰项目以及全球城市监测框架搭建平台。
The GlobalAwardforSustainableDevelopmentinCities(ShanghaiAward) isaninternationalawardjointlyinitiatedby theUnitedNationsHumanSettlementsProgramme,orUN-Habitat,andtheShanghaimunicipalgovernment.
ItaimstopromotetheimplementationoftheUnitedNations2030AgendaforSustainableDevelopment,thelocalizationofsustainabledevelopmenteffortsonaglobalscaleandrecognizecitiesthathaveachievedoutstandingachievementsinthefieldofsustainabledevelopment.
ItalsoservesasaplatformfortheimplementationofkeyareasofflagshipprojectsoftheUN-Habitatandtheglobalurbanmonitoringframework.
10月28日，全球可持续发展城市奖（上海奖）颁奖活动暨2023年世界城市日中国主场活动开幕式在上海举行，中共中央政治局委员、国务院副总理何立峰出席开幕式并为首届获奖城市颁奖。

标志设计整体以一棵俯视的树的形象呈现，深扎根方能树参天，体现对全球可持续发展的不断探索与深耕。
Thelogodesignispresentedastheimageofatreewhenviewedfromabove,symbolizingtheideathatdeeprootsarenecessaryforatreetogrow.Thisdesignreflectsthecontinuousexplorationanddeepcommitmenttoglobalsustainabledevelopment.
图案经过抽象整合，可分解成三个形态相同的房屋，体现出一生二，二生三，三生万物的宇宙发展观。
Theimage,afterabstractintegration,canbedeconstructedintothreeidenticalhouse-likeshapes,reflectingthecosmicviewof"onebegetstwo;twobegetsthree;threebegetsthemyriadcreatures".
不同方向的房屋汇聚，形成循环向前的动态趋势，色彩从红色到绿色是土地到树木的渐变色，图形像一枚玉佩，融合中国传统元素，展现中国亲和友善的国际形象。

作为全球可持续发展城市奖（上海奖）的第一款奖杯，为了体现奖项可持续和循环的理念，奖杯设计延续标识“树”的概念，延伸为一棵挺拔茂盛的树木，树干横截面为标识，也寓意着在年轮的增长中，可持续发展理念逐渐壮大。
