某四大「办公区饮料」被下药，已有两个月
毕马威新西兰公司有人在办公区饮料中下药。最令人不安的是，抛开那些令人恐惧的药物不谈，这件事很可能发生在毕马威的办公区域。连续两个月，“肮脏胆小的懦夫”在每月的工作活动中给饮料下药。
《Stuff》先报道了该事件：
毕马威会计师事务所的两名员工疑似成为被下药饮料的受害者，执行主席表示，无论是谁做的，都是“肮脏胆小的懦夫”。
《Stuff》获得了一封来自新西兰毕马威执行主席马特·普里查德(MattPritchard)的泄露电子邮件，他在邮件开头说“我从来没有想过要写这封邮件”。
“令人痛心的是，上周五，在我们每月一次的奥克兰合伙人大会上，我们的一名员工成为了饮料添加的受害者。”
谢天谢地，受害者最终安全回家了。
在上个月，还有另一起饮料添加事件。尽管《Stuff》的文章没有详细说明。Pritchard在他的电子邮件中说，“虽然事件发生地点不确定，但很可能也在我们的办公区域。”为了应对8月份第一次发生该事故，该公司安排了一名保安，并希望由他和三名合伙人共同监管，不会再出现该事件。不幸的是，事实并非如此。

TwopeopleatKPMGaresuspectedtohavebeenvictimsofdrink-spikingatseparateworkdrinks,withtheexecutivechairsayingwhoeverisresponsibleisa“grubbylittlecoward”.
StuffhasobtainedaleakedemailfromMattPritchard,ExecutiveChairofKPMGinNewZealand,whobeginsbysaying“thisemailisnotsomethingIeverexpectedtohavetowrite”.
“Distressingly,lastFridayatourmonthlyAucklandPartners’shout,oneofourpeoplewasavictimofdrink-spiking.”
Thankfullythatvictimmadeithomesafely.
Atlastmonth’sshouttherewasanotherdrink-spikingincidentthoughtheStuffpiecedoesn’tgetintothespecifics.SaidPritchardinhisemail,“Whilethelocationoftheincidentwasnotcertain,itwaslikelytohavealsobeenatourpremises.”ThefirminstalledasecurityguardinresponsetothefirstincidentinAugustandhopedbetweenthatandthreesupervisingpartners,therewouldn’tbeaproblemthenexttimearound.Unfortunatelythatwasn’tthecase.
“Weexpectedthesemeasures,combinedwiththepolicieswehaveinplacetoensurewe’reresponsiblehosts,includingensuringonedrinkperpersonperbarvisit–withnodrinkstacking,wouldbeeffective.Unfortunately,thiswasn’tenough,andwearereviewingourapproachtotheseevents,”Pritchard’semailsaid.
“Eachandeveryoneofusneedstofeelsafeinourworkplace.”
Thefirmisnowgoingtoaddextracamerastothespacewherethesemonthlyeventstakeplaceandmaydiscontinuetheeventcompletely.
“ItisshockingtousamemberoftheKPMGfamilywoulddosomethingsodespicableandcowardlytoanothermemberofourfamilyand,whilewearecurrentlyfocusedonouraffectedteammembers,wewanttominimisetheriskofthiseverhappeningagain,”Pritchardwrote.
Thepersonorpersonsresponsiblehavenotbeenidentified,Pritchardsaid,andtherewasnowaninternalinvestigationwiththeprioritybeingthevictimsand“findingthegrubbylittlecowardswhohasdonethis”.
It’sbeenreportedtopoliceandPritchardurgedanyonewithphotoorvideofromFriday’seventtosubmititforreview.“Ihopetheyarefoundandprosecuted,”hesaidtoStuff.“I’maparentoffiveyoungchildren,andwetreatourworkplacelikeafamily,I’mveryangry,shockedanddistressedsomeonewouldbehavethiswaytoyourworkfamily.It’sunthinkable.”
