杨奕萌自述：
作为一个土生土长的上海人，同时作为一个音乐剧爱好者，你没猜错——我爱上海的理由之一，便是音乐剧。作为国际大都市，上海有一份海纳百川的胸怀，立足当下又放眼世界，将这种大众化、具有观赏性的艺术形式不断带给千家万户。
二十一世纪初以来，上海引进了许多音乐剧，诸如《悲惨世界》《剧院魅影》以及《摇滚莫扎特》，在本城乃至全国激起了热烈反响。这些经典剧目的引进，不仅让音乐剧的概念深入人心，也催生了音乐剧产业在上海的孕育，吸引众多观众来到上海观剧。
近几年，由于制作水平的不断提升，加上全球疫情对于引进剧的影响，上海开始探索音乐剧改编与原创的尝试。从制作经典作品的中文版，到创办自己的音乐剧综艺，上海不断引领大众媒体对音乐剧关注和支持，也为众多音乐剧爱好者提供了交流与探索的空间。
相信上海会带领音乐剧文化在中国越来越繁荣，让这座充满活力的城市永远荡漾最优美的歌声！
