Almosteverymorning,thecoastlineofSanyainHainanprovincetransformsintoashimmeringspectacle,withaflotillaofyachtsmooredatbustlingportspoisedtosetsailontheirmaritimeadventures.
Sanya,withitsabundantaquaticresourcesandfavorabletropicalclimate,hasemergedasamagnetforinternationalanddomesticvisitorseagertoembarkonyachtingtripsandenjoyblueskiesandsparklingwaters.
"Exceptforoccasionaltyphoons,Sanyacanalmostachievemorethan350seagoingdaysthroughouttheyear,"saidGaoYongning,deputydirectorofthecruiseandyachtdepartmentoftheSanyaCentralBusinessDistrictAdministration.
Hainanishometoover13,000yacht-relatedenterprises,andboasts14operationalmarinasand2,511yachtberths.
Sanya,asoutherncoastalcityoftheprovince,hasemergedasastandoutdestinationfortheleisureactivity.Morethan7,300yachtenterprises,makingup22.7percentofChina'stotalyacht-relatedbusinesses,werelocatedthereasofJune,accordingtoareportbyHainanDaily.
Thecityalsoaccommodatesaregisteredyachtfleetexceeding1,400vessels,accordingtotheSanyaMaritimeSafetyAdministration,withthenumberexceedingitsreputationasthe"cityofa1,000yachts".
Inthefirsthalfoftheyear,yachtsmadearound58,000portentriesandexitsinSanya,whichreceivedabout367,000visitors.
Duringthe40-daySpringFestivaltravelseason,30,944portentriesandexitswererecordedand212,154visitorswelcomed.Thenumberswerearecordfortheholidayperiod,theadministrationsaid.
