哈佛大学校长突然辞职！涉嫌论文抄袭和“反犹”争议
美国哈佛大学校长克洛迪娜·盖伊当地时间1月2日发表声明，宣布辞去哈佛大学校长一职。
去年12月，盖伊和宾夕法尼亚大学校长、麻省理工学院校长共同参加国会听证会，因在校园“反犹”问题上的立场招致批评。宾夕法尼亚大学校长已于上个月辞职。此外，哈佛大学相关调查委员会发现盖伊在学术论文中存在错误引用资料来源等问题。

盖伊在声明中说，她近几个月来目睹学校的紧张和分裂削弱了信任的纽带，人们对她反对仇恨和维护学术严谨的承诺产生怀疑。在与哈佛大学校董委员会成员沟通后，她决定辞去校长一职，这符合哈佛大学的最佳利益。

盖伊于2023年7月出任哈佛校长，任职时间为哈佛历史上最短。她是该校的第二位女性校长和首位黑人校长。

哈佛大学校董委员会当天在一份声明中说，哈佛大学和美国高等教育近期面临一系列前所未有的挑战和不断升级的争议与冲突。盖伊和有关方面一直寻求以哈佛大学最佳利益为指导共同应对挑战。在经过综合考量后，校方接受盖伊的辞职，哈佛大学教务长艾伦·加伯将担任临时校长。
