【先声夺人｜专家：推进中美关系向前发展，必须找到其恶化的原因】2023年“读懂中国”国际会议在广州举行，会议主题为“百年变局下的中国新作为——扩大利益汇合点，构建命运共同体”。在“‘大咖对话’——论道中美”环节，香港大学中国与世界治理研究中心创始主任李成表示，推进中美关系向前发展，必须找到其恶化的原因。他总结为如下三个方面：第一，美国认为自身遭遇到了自二战以来最大的综合性挑战；第二，美国国内各种内斗不断、发展陷入困境，因此对外部力量增长更为敏感；第三，中国经济的快速崛起带来的“危机感”。The2023UnderstandingChinaConference(Guangzhou)isbeingheldonDecember1-3inGuangzhou.Inthe"StraightTalk:NavigatingtheFutureofChina-U.S.Relations"session,LiCheng,foundingdirectoroftheCentreonContemporaryChinaandtheWorld(CCCW)attheUniversityofHongKong,saidthatit'snecessarytofindthecausesbehindthedeteriorationofU.S.-Chinarelationsifthetwocountrieswanttomoveforwardtogether.Heidentifiesthreereasonsforthecurrentimpasse:First,theUnitedStatesbelievesthatithasencounteredthelargestcomprehensivechallengesinceWorldWarII;second,theUnitedStatesfaceslotsofdomesticinternalconflicthurtingitsdevelopment,whichinturnmakestheU.S.sensitivetothegrowthofexternalforces;third,therapidriseofChina'seconomyarousesa"senseofcrisis."
