Yantai launches anafforestationproject toturn the cityintoagreener,moreeco-friendly andlivableplace.
烟台启动植树造林工程，打造一个更绿色、更环保、更宜居的城市。
YantaiinEastChina'sShandongprovinceplanstoafforest anareaof 3,538mu(235.87hectares) andcontinue implementing precisemanagementofafforestationandgreening,accordingto anannouncementby localauthoritiesonMarch12,the46th National Tree Planting Day.
3月12日是全国第46个植树节，根据政府发布的公告，烟台计划实施造林3538亩，继续实施造林绿化落地上图精准化管理。
Preliminarystatisticsshowthatnearly2millionYantaicitizensparticipateinvariousformsofvolunteer treeplantingactivitieseachyear.Over 10milliontrees are plantedannually, withasurvivalrateofover90percent.
据初步统计，烟台每年近200万名市民参与多种形式的义务植树活动，年均栽植树木达1000余万株，造林成活率达到90%以上。
Inrecentyears,Yantaihasimplementedsomekeygreeningprojects,andanumberofnationalandprovincialforestvillagesandcommunitieshavebeenbuiltacrossthecity.Duetoitsstrong afforestationandgreeningefforts,YantaihasbeenawardedthetitlesofNationalGreenModelCityandNationalForestCity.
近年，烟台实施了一批重点绿化工程，在全市范围内建成了一批国家级和省级森林乡村和社区。因造林绿化成效突出，烟台先后获评全国绿化模范城市、国家森林城市称号。
Since2021,Yantaihasbeenscientificallycarryingout afforestation,afforestinga total area of15,114mu.In2023,thecityafforestedanareaof3,825mu,exceedingtheannualtarget.
2021年以来，烟台大力实施科学绿化，累计完成科学绿化15114亩，2023年完成科学绿化造林上图3825亩，超额完成年初任务。
Thecityhasalsoselected comprehensivegreeningprojects.Lastyear,atotalof15municipal-levelafforestationandgreeninghighlightprojects,fiveforestdemonstrationtowns,and50forestdemonstrationcommunitieswereselected,contributingtothesteadyincreaseinthecity'stotalforestresourcesandthecontinuousimprovementofitsnatural environment.
此外，该市积极开展全域绿化工程评选活动，去年共评选市级造林绿化亮点工程15处、森林示范乡镇5处、森林示范村居50处，助力实现森林资源总量稳步增长、生态环境持续改善。
