SincetheestablishmentofdiplomatictiesonMarch15,1974,Guinea-BissauandChinahavesteadilyenhancedtheirfriendlycooperationacrossvarioussectors.Thisyearmarksthemomentous50thanniversaryofbilateraldiplomaticrelations.OnbehalfofPresidentUmaroMokhtarSissocoEmbalóandallthestaffoftheEmbassyofGuinea-BissauinChina,IwouldliketoexpressheartfeltgratitudetothePeople'sRepublicofChinaanditspeoplefordeepeningfriendshipwithAfrica,particularlywithGuinea-Bissau,andfortheircommitmenttothecontinent'sdevelopment.
自1974年3月15日几内亚比绍与中国建立外交关系以来，两国在各个领域的友好合作稳步发展。今年是中国和几内亚比绍建交50周年，我谨代表几内亚比绍共和国总统乌马罗·西索科·恩巴洛阁下和几内亚比绍驻华使馆全体员工，向中国及全体中国人民表示衷心的感谢！感谢中国加深与整个非洲，特别是几内亚比绍的友谊与合作，以及对非洲大陆发展的关注！
AsignificantmilestonewasreachedonNovember22,2021,withtheofficialsigningofamemorandumofunderstanding(MoU)betweenChinaandGuinea-BissauforjointparticipationintheBeltandRoadInitiative(BRI).Thissignalsanexpandedscopeofcooperationandcommercialopportunities.Priorityareasforfuturecollaborationanddevelopmentincludeinfrastructure,transportation,electricity,mining,agriculture,andhealthcare.TheseinitiativesfosterinvestmentinGuinea-Bissau'seconomy,culture,andtourism.
2021年11月22日，中国和几内亚比绍正式签署了《关于共同推进丝绸之路经济带和21世纪海上丝绸之路建设的谅解备忘录》。在“一带一路”框架下，双方将在包括基建、交通运输、电力、矿业、农业、医疗卫生等多个领域探索新的合作机遇。“一带一路”倡议能促进几内亚比绍在经济、文化和旅游等领域的投资。

中国对几内亚比绍西非沿海公路比绍至萨芬路段项目的援助是积极推进“一带一路”倡议的重要举措，也是中国与几内亚比绍深厚友谊的有力证明。它为几内亚比绍的经济社会发展及提升中国和几内亚比绍关系奠定了坚实的基础。

几内亚比绍的经济以农业为主。中国派驻几内亚比绍的农业专家为当地数以万计的民众提供技术培训，帮助他们种植改良品种的水稻，提高了农作物的产量，推动了当地农业的发展。
