Asaresearchintern,youwillhelpprovideresearch,datacollectionandanalysis,andadministrativesupporttotheFoodandNaturalResourcesprograminChina.Theinternwillsupportseveralinterdisciplinaryandmulti-group researchprojectsontradeandgreeningsupplychainsstrategy(mainlysoftcommodities),includingfood,forestandothersoftcommoditiesthatarecriticalforglobalfood,forest,andlandsysteminChinaandinternationally.Thetermwillbe atleastsixmonths.
Responsibilities
1.Research&Analysis(85%)
Familiarwithagriculture,foodsystemandinternationaleconomicsandbusiness-relatedtopics,abletoconductdatacollection,datacleaningandprocessing,andsimplecasestudies.
Experiencewithsimilarresearchtopicsispreferred.
Draftsummaryreferringtotheinformationanddata.
Copyeditreports,workingpapers,andotherknowledgeproducts.
Supportotherresearchactivitiesperrequest.
2.Translationandotheradministrativeaffairs(30%)
Assistinthetranslationperrequest
Provideadministrativesupportperrequest.
Qualifications
Enrolledundergraduate(atleastJunior)orgraduatestudenttowardsadegreeinfood/trade/economics/environment/land use/natureresourcesorrelatedfields.
WellinresearchandanalysisbyusingmodelanalysisandGIStoolsishighlydesired.
Experiencewithrelevantresearchandprojectis preferred.
FluencyinEnglishandChinese(bothwrittenand spoken).
Responsetorequestinatimelymanner.
Minimumcommitmentof18-24hoursperweekfor6months.
