The“OurWater”projectislaunchedtoestablishadialoguebetweenShanghaiandothercitieswithuniquewaterfrontareas.equitytocomplementShanghai’sothertwofinancialhubs,LujiazuiandtheBund,andwillaimtopromoteShanghai’sdevelopmentasaglobalfinancialcenter.

Overtheeight-dayspan,sevenlargeshoppingmallsanddepartmentstoresrakedin730millionyuan,a6.7percentriseyearoveryear.
NanjingRoadW.maintaineditsfirstplaceinoverallspendinginallofthecity’scommercialzones,rising8.1percentfrom2022.
Anditwasteemingwithactivity.TheHKRITaikooHuihostedthefirstChiLLLifeFestivalonitsrooftopgarden,whichincludedathemedfair,artinstallations,sportspartiesandmusicperformancestointroducepeopletoagreenlifestyle.

FromSeptember26toOctober6,theeventfeaturedworldwidelightperformancesalongtheriver,connectingaseriesofhistoricallocationssuchasTianhouPalace,ShenyuliandtheformersiteofShanghai’sChamberofCommerce.
The11-dayfestivalwasasuccess,withover2billionclicksontheInternet,anditrankedfirstinalltrendingtopicsaroundthecityonWeiboandDouyin.
Accordingtoastudy,participantsratedtheevent9.1outof10,and70percentoffestivalattendeesclaimeditwasthefirsttimetheywerevisitingSuzhouCreek.
TheadjacentSuhewanMIXCWorldgotapproximately90,000visitorsinasingledayasaresultofthefestival,settinganewrecord.Jing’anJoyCity,anothermall,had78,000averagedailyvisitors,up90percentfromthepreviousyear.
Accordingtothedistrict,morethan40brandsandstorespresentedorpromotednewproductsinJing’anduringtheShiningShanghaiFestival.
TheIMIXParkinDaninghadamusiccampingevent,andtheDaningJiuguangCenterhostedanoutdoorsportsandpetcarnival.
SuzhouCreekrunsthroughthesubdistrictfor2.3kilometers.BeisuzhouRoad,GuangfuRoad,XizangRoadN.,HainingRoad,ZhejiangRoadN.,TiantongRoadandHenanRoadN.encirclethe0.43-square-kilometerdemonstrationzone.
Thesubdistrictistryingtoimprovethearea’sbasicfacilities,managementandgreening.
